We are 100% committed to maximise the sale price to benefit both yourself and us as a company.

What are Unearth’s Payout?

We do not incur any upfront charges when you secure a collection with us. We only retain 50% of the sales of your item while the other 50% will be cash payout to you after deducting RM 100 service fee per collection and ancillary charges.

Your Payout will be calculated this way:

(50% x Selling Price) – RM100 Service Fee Per Collection – Ancillary Charges* = Cash Payout To You

The RM100 service fee is a minimum charge for each collection order we receive from you. If the sale of the items does not cover the minimum service fee and ancillary charges, you do not need to pay the difference. We will cover the cost of those fees including any disposal fees that incurs.

*Our ancillary charges includes:-

  1. Furniture Dismantling : RM 60 Per Unit

  2. Difficult Access Charges : RM 60 Surcharge for Normal Condominiums and 2nd Storey Landed Property or; RM 120 for Condominiums or Landed Property with Difficult Access (e.g. 3rd Storey, Above 50m Access from Service Lift etc)

  3. Additional Trip Surcharge : RM 80 Per Trip

Example of Scenario A:

John requested a collection with Unearth. The items includes a dining table, a TV and sofa set. He stays on the 22nd floor of a condominium and his unit is far away (100m) from the service lift.

Only the dining table requires dismantling.

The total sale of 3 items are RM 1,300.

(RM 1,300 X 50%) – RM 100 (Service Fee) – RM 60 (Dismantling) – RM 120 (Difficult Access) = RM 370 (Payout to John)

Listing Windows

Accepted items are listed for 3 months. You will get paid for each item when and if it sells.

If Your Item Gets Sold Within 3 months

Congratulations! Your account will be credited immediately and you will receive an email notification! You will be able to cash out via bank transfer once your account exceeds our RM100 threshold.

If Your Item Is Unsold Within 3 Months

No worries! Your items will still be put to good use. It will be either recycled, donated to those in need, and as a last resort, disposed in an environmentally manner. It is our mission to keep as much goods out of landfills as possible

FAQ

What happens if one of my items does not sell during the listing window?

For items above RM500. You may reclaim the item during the final 7 days of the listing window. If you do not reclaim an accepted item, the item becomes property of Unearth Sdn Bhd. Unclaimed Items below the RM500 value will be deemed property of Unearth Sdn. Bhd.

When do I get my payout?

When one of your items is purchased, you’ll be able to request your payout and be able to cash out as soon as the 14-day return window has passed. If the item is returned, your consignment window will be reset so that your item has more time to sell, and you will be paid out as soon as the item sells for the second time.
